Newsletter early april 2026
Hi,
Easter is behind us and spring is slowly starting to show itself. It is still a bit fresh, but you can feel something shifting. The days are getting lighter, the sun is showing up more often, and the May holidays are approaching.
What I notice, both around me and in my sessions, is that many people feel tired after the long winter. It has been a period of pushing through, staying inside, holding on. And now that there is more light and space again, something begins to move. People start to open up. There is more movement, more need to be outside, to breathe, to change.
At the same time, I notice that in that opening, it also becomes clearer what no longer feels right. Things that used to work start to feel uncomfortable. Boundaries become more visible. People feel less patient. And more often, a feeling comes up of: this is no longer how I want it, but then what?
That is what I am seeing a lot right now. Not necessarily big life decisions, but a clear inner movement. As if something is starting, without it being fully clear yet where it is leading.
What happens behind a session
What I also notice is that many people book a one-hour session, without always realizing what happens around it. A reading is not just an isolated hour where I briefly tune in. Before the session, you receive a number of questions so your theme becomes clear. About an hour before our appointment, I go into a deep trance, where I move my own personality as much as possible to the background in order to tune in to you and your question in a clear and open way.
During the session itself, I am fully attuned to you and you receive the answers that come forward in that moment. After the session, I need time to come back out of that deep state, which is also why I often plan my sessions back-to-back. The next day, I go into a lighter trance again to write an extensive report for you, including exercises and reflection questions, so you can continue working with it after the session. In this way, a session becomes a carefully held process, with space to truly go into what is present for you.
What I often see in sessions
What has been standing out to me recently is how often people come into sessions with a strong level of self-awareness. They have worked on themselves for years. They understand where their patterns come from, they recognize their triggers, they know what their inner child needs. And still, something remains stuck. Not because they are doing something wrong, but because a step is missing.
What I see again and again is that people stop at understanding. They have acknowledged the pain, they have felt it, they have let things go. But the relationship with those inner parts — actually being in dialogue, returning, staying present — is not there yet. And that is exactly where the difference lies between insight and integration.
I also see this in another form: people who have lost themselves in a relationship, a life, a role, and who no longer know who they are without it. There is a lot of clarity about what went wrong, but very little connection with what is actually alive inside. As if the connection with their own field has become very weak, and everything that follows from that place — decisions, next steps — remains unstable.
What I notice is that the first movement does not have to be big. No major insight, no drastic decision, but a quiet return to yourself. To your own field. To what is truly present in you right now. Not to analyze it, but to be with it. From there, what follows naturally becomes more grounded and clear.
New depth on the blog
In the past few weeks, I have written three blogs about themes I regularly see in sessions and that often remain under the surface in daily life. Not abstract topics, but recognizable patterns that affect many people without them fully seeing it.
Why you keep getting stuck — and what that says about your relationship
Lately, I see how often couples get stuck in the same pattern without understanding why it keeps repeating. One wants to move forward, the other holds on. One dreams, the other resists. And the harder they try, the more stuck it becomes. In this blog, I explain why you are not randomly drawn to someone who triggers you, what is actually underneath this dynamic, and what becomes possible when you are willing to look at it together. It is not a sign that you do not belong together — it is an invitation.
Why inner child work does not work if you skip this step
Many people have been working on themselves for years, understand where their pain comes from, and have let go of a lot — and still something remains unresolved. What I see in sessions is that people often stop at understanding and feeling. But the inner parts that are asking for attention do not need a moment of acknowledgment. They need a relationship, a voice, an ongoing dialogue. That step — from letting go to communicating — is where the real difference lies between insight and true integration.
Highly sensitive and exhausted: why recovery does not happen if you do not address this
What becomes visible here is that it is not about what you do or do not do, but about something deeper: a nervous system that has linked safety to adapting. As long as that does not change, you can rest, set boundaries and do everything “right,” and still keep ending up in the same exhaustion. In this blog, I explain what is underneath it and what is needed to actually break that cycle.
All blogs can be found on my website.
A question I often receive
A question I regularly receive is whether I can quickly tune in via email. If I can briefly look at something or answer a short question. It may seem small, but this is not how I work.
As I described earlier, I work from a deep trance. It takes me about an hour to fully enter that state and about an hour to come out of it again. That is not a state I can enter “briefly” for a quick question.
Some people mention that I can also perceive things without going into that deep trance. That is true, but then my own personality is still involved. And because I want to work as clearly as possible, I choose not to do that. I do not want to give you an answer that is colored by me, but one that comes through as open and clear as possible.
This means that I generally do not answer in-between questions. When I tune in for you, I do so fully, in that deep state where I can do my work in the most accurate way.
What I am currently working on
What I am currently focused on is writing my training The Path of Initiation. I have started with the first layer, which is about inhabiting your own field. This is not a training for beginners, but for people who already have a solid foundation in their awareness process and are familiar with going inward and being in contact with themselves.
In this training, I guide you into a next step. Not only feeling or understanding, but truly living from your soul within your body. Taking ownership of your own field, and learning to attune to your higher self as a guiding force. Not as something abstract, but as something you can experience and follow in your daily life and decisions.
I notice that I really enjoy working on this. Both the writing and shaping of it, and bringing it into form. It is a process where words, insights and downloads come together, and where meditations also take their place. It feels like something that is unfolding step by step.
I will share more about this soon. For now, this is where my focus is.
Final note
There is space in my agenda in the coming period. In April, May and June there are still spots available for readings, business readings, relationship readings and therapeutic sessions. You can book a session through my website.
In addition to readings, I also offer therapeutic sessions. These are sessions where we work together with what is stuck or asking for attention within you. This can take different forms, depending on what is present. Sometimes we work analytically, bringing clarity to patterns in your thinking and behavior. Sometimes we use systemic constellations to see the position you hold within your family or system and what may need to shift.
I also work with emotional coaching and inner child therapy, where we connect with parts of you that are still holding past experiences or emotions. Not just to understand them, but to build a relationship with them and integrate them step by step. When appropriate, I also work with holistic EMDR, a focused way of processing trauma and unresolved experiences, looking not only at the event itself but also at the wider layer around it, so the system can truly settle.
In addition, I work with soul retrieval and power extraction. These are forms of energetic work where lost parts are brought back and disruptive influences are released, allowing more space and stability within you.
In these sessions, we always attune to what you need. There is no fixed format, but a way of working that moves with your process and what is present in the moment.
With warmth, Hilde
